Now here’s an interesting one. Boom Boom single by Paul Lekakis. I know exactly where I picked this gem up at. I was working as a busboy at the Holiday Inn Denver South East in their restaurant/bar Circle in the Square. I remember them pulling in huge crowds on Friday and Saturday nights in the bar (I was only 16 at the time and worked Saturday nights and Sunday morning brunch). This was my first exposure to the nightclub crowed. Anyway, they stopped having a DJ at some point, for what reason I have no idea, and tore down the DJ booth. They gave the employees a bunch of the records from their collection. A TON of 12 singles. I got a few of them including this one and Billy Crystal’s “You Look Marvelous” which will be included here at some point. Anyway, strange looking dude and strange song as well.
